The design would be taking the sun and the radiance and the light and the cheer. Now the design had to be subtle. Hmmm ….. So the sunflower is on the shibori design, ready to cast a spell of well being and cheer. Would like to wear it?
Shibori
This is the technique which is done in Japan, India(bandhani) and many other parts of the world, this is made on muslin cloth, silks and etc.
It is the Japanese word for a variety of ways of embellishing textiles by shaping cloth and securing it before dyeing. The word comes from the verb root shiboru, "to wring, squeeze, press." ... Cloth shaped by these methods is secured in a number of ways, such as binding and knotting.
